By accessing the website at https://www.pathnetzero.com, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms of service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on https://www.pathnetzero.com for transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a licence, not a transfer of title, and under this licence you may not:
- modify or copy the materials.
- use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial).
- attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on Path Net Zero Ltd.’s website.
- remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or
- transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server.
Users with a valid Path Net Zero license are granted a licence to access https://www.pathnetzero.com partner log in which grants the right to use the Path Net Zero Carbon Calculating Platform for carbon calculations and reporting, downloading of reports, purchasing carbon offsets, and usage of the Path Net Zero API.
This licence shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by Path Net Zero Ltd at any time. Upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this licence, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format.
Path Net Zero will enable access to an online calculator for the user to calculate the individual and specific itinerary items of the users travel related activities carbon footprint to calculate the required carbon credits required to offset the emissions of the activities, and the user agrees to purchase the required credits through the Path Net Zero Marketplace.
The user accepts responsibility for the data input and the subsequent calculation of metric tons, and the Path Net Zero accepts responsibility to manage the delivery to offset the itinerary to Net Zero.
You agree to pay your service fee in exchange for access to the partner platform at https://www.pathnetzero.com and usage of its API.
Path Net Zero reserves the right to alter its pricing at any time and customers will be provided three months’ notice of any price changes.
Price changes will not take effect until the next billing date following the expiry of the notice period.
Our pricing includes a set number of requests and a request is a single calculated emission.
If you use our API to calculate multiple requests at once (e.g. batch), or our web interface to upload a spreadsheet of requests at once (e.g. bulk csv upload), the combined total of each individual request will be calculated.
Our 'Standard' plan has a fair use policy of 10,000 requests per month. If you go above this limit you will need to pay for your additional request usage.
You grant Path Net Zero the right to add your company name and company logo to our list of clients on our website, and Path Net Zero grant you permission to use our company logo in any marketing or ESG reporting.
The user may request their account be closed and/or deleted at any time. Where this occurs during a user's subscription, the user shall be liable to pay for their account for the remainder of the user's subscription term.
Except with respect to willful misconduct, neither Party’s liability shall exceed the total amount paid under this contract (or in the event a claim is being made for failure to pay, the amount that should have been paid) at the time of termination. Neither Party shall be liable to the other for any special, indirect, or consequential damages. The limitation of liability shall survive cancellation, termination, or expiration of this Agreement.
Path Net Zero Ltd shall not be liable for any direct or consequential loss that arises from incorrect or inaccurate carbon calculations.
Carbon calculations are constantly evolving and there will be more than one accepted methodology for calculating carbon. In some cases, Path Net Zero will develop its own methodology.
Path Net Zero Ltd may revise these terms of service for its website at any time without notice. By using this website, you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This agreement and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
